About Mandera TTI

Mandera Technical Training Institute was founded in 2016 to provide technical education and vocational training to the residents of Mandera and others. It began with ten students and now has over 1,000 trainees, offering Diploma, Craft Certificate and Artisan courses.

The institute trains middle-level technicians and technologists with technical and business skills for industry, in support of Kenya’s Vision 2030. The campus is set away from the noise of the town, offering a calm and welcoming place to study.

Mandera TTI is managed by a Board of Governors appointed by the Cabinet Secretary for Education, while the Principal and support staff run its day-to-day activities. Our graduates work across the country.
