Electrical and Electronic Engineering
Established in 2015, the Electrical and Electronics Engineering Department has become one of the most vibrant departments at the Mandera Technical Training Institute(MTTI).
Our dedicated team of 8 registered trainers, and One technician, provides high-quality education and training in various electrical and electronics fields.
We are proud to have trained over 200 electricians who are now contributing productively to society.
The department boasts a well-equipped workshop feature cutting-edge solar photovoltaics and Electrical Installation equipment.
We actively engage with industry experts through our Industry Advisory Committees, ensuring our curriculum remains relevant and effective.
ICT & Secretarial Studies
The department comprises two sections: Information Communication Technology (ICT), and Secretarial Studies.
It offers integrated quality training to trainees, aligns with the institution's vision, mission, and core values, and provides ICT services to other departments.
These services include computer support, maintenance, Programming,Database Management, networking, and a user support helpdesk.
Additionally, the department hosts the jitume Program and Online distance learning system of the institution..

Craft certificate courses in Plumbing, and Building Technology aims to provide the trainee with thorough knowledge of the techniques and appropriate tools for his/her trade. In addition the trainee should acquire a firm grounding in relevant science and technology.
